MASB is one of Turkey's pioneering manufacturers of single-piece cast cylinder heads and engine blocks for heavy commercial vehicles, construction machinery and military vehicles.
Our History
Our founder Ahmet Bayraktutan entered the sector in 1975 as a motor rectification craftsman. In 1987 he established Turkey's first crankshaft production facility, operating in that field until 1994. In 1994 he turned to cylinder head manufacturing and founded MASB, producing the Caterpillar 8-N-1188 cylinder head as its first product. Today MASB supplies cylinder heads to the Turkish Gendarmerie General Command for Land Rover vehicles, to the State Hydraulic Works for Komatsu machinery, and to TCDD TÜLOMSAŞ for Pielstick engines, alongside military-specification MTU steel cylinder heads engineered for Mediterranean climate conditions.
Our facility produces single-piece cast iron and steel cylinder heads weighing up to 480 kg, with a minimum series production capacity of 50 units, while we continue investing in the production of 3,800 kg V-16 engine blocks.
Our Quality Commitment
As the first company to receive the TSEK Quality Certificate for cylinder head body casting quality, all our products are pressure-tested for leak tightness at 8 bar air pressure before series production.
